The last short term mobility (Learning/teaching training activities C4) was held in Palanga Senoji Gimnazija, Lithuania on May 20-24 2019.

Before the actual visit, the majority of the school community was involved in the preparation: May 7, 2019 Erasmus+ team students and teachers and the IIIrd graders of Palanga Senoji Gimnazija striving for perfection with the folk band ‘Meguva’.

May 23, 2019 Democracy and Friendship evening in Palanga Senoji Gimnazija with the kind help, support and generosity of wonderful parents of all our Erasmus+ students Aušra Žemaitaitienė, Ramune Mickuviene, Asta Knietienė (and all the others who aren’t my Facebook friends), with the folk band of Palanga ‘Meguva’. Tasting the traditional Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Italian and Portuguese snacks, cakes and dishes, learning the traditional Lithuanian dances and dances of the partner countries. May 23, 2019 ‘DAREbyART’ workshop. Thanks to the ecellent guidance of teachers Daiva Urbštienė and Jūratė Vaišvilė as well as the limitless creativity of the students a Dream Democratic School was built. The ideas were presented to the audience and now are exhibited in Palanga Senoji Gimnazija for the local community to admire.

May 22, 2019 the project meeting was disseminated in the local press the newspaper ‘Vakarinė Palanga’ (‘Evening Palanga’) No.33. The project coordinator and two young reporters Augustė Stonkutė and Judita Baranauskaitė from class IIB (supervised by their teacher Aušra Šeštokienė) interviewed some of the partners – partcipants of the DARE project and wrote an article about the visit.
