From 9 to 16 February, 2025, the students from Palangos Senoji Gimnazija — Gabija Valužytė, Austėja Macijauskaitė, Rūta Šakytė, Mila Skuodaitė, Elinga Lapaitė, Faustina Eglynaitė, and Liutaurė Nutautaitė — participated in an Erasmus+ project in Antalya, Turkey.

The project provided these students with a unique opportunity to explore Turkish culture, enhance their communication skills, and collaborate with peers from Turkey. When they returned home, the participants shared their experiences and adventures not only with their peers but also with representatives of Palanga Youth Center “Be stogo” ( “Without Limits”)  and the international participants of the other Erasmus project.

Erasmus experiences shared through methodology
Erasmus+ group mobility projects usually focus on students’ experiences. However, we- teachers of English Aušrinė Janušienė and Audra Kaklienė are very happy not only to implement the methods we observed during the preparatory visit in Antalya Turkey in December 2024, but also to share them with our colleagues – teachers of foreign languages from Western Lithuania. On October 8, 2025 in the conference dedicated to coping with the challenges of the renewed curriculum (,,UTA PATIRTYS: NUO IŠŠŪKIŲ IKI SĖKMINGŲ SPRENDIMŲ”) we presented the implementation of the method called ‘Exhibition’, which we had a possibility to observe in Antalya. During the conference we shared the aim, goals, the steps and the final results of this method. We were delighted to find out that the method looked appealing to many teachers and some even asked if we could bring our students to their school to evaluate the success of the ‘Project method’ which they are eager to try out. We are proud that our Erasmus experience went beyond the borders of our school and reached the hearts of colleagues in schools miles way.
